Case Study
A customer was using calcium stearate as a hydrophobic agent in a protective coating.
Our Solution
We worked with the customer to explore alternative options and submitted a sample of their existing product to Peter Greven’s research laboratory for analysis.
Following analysis we were able to offer two solutions :
I direct replacement to the customer’s existing product.
A product with significantly improved hydrophobic properties.
The Benefits
- The customer was able to use much less calcium stearate which meant a noticeable cost saving.
